At Madison Elementary, we know that students learn best when they feel supported, understood, and confident. That’s why our School Counselor, Mrs. Mary Kate Dressel, is here to provide care and guidance for every student’s academic, social, and emotional growth.
Mrs. Dressel offers a wide range of services, including individual and small group counseling, classroom guidance lessons focused on social-emotional learning, and support during times of personal or family change. She also works closely with teachers, staff, and families to help students overcome challenges and stay on track for success.
Whether your child needs help with friendship skills, managing big feelings, or building confidence, Mrs. Dressel is a trusted resource and advocate who is here to help.

School Counselor Confidentiality Statement
School counselors respect the right to confidentiality of students, teachers, parents and staff. Disclosures of abuse and/or imminent danger to self or others are reported to the appropriate agency in accordance with the law. Situations jeopardizing student safety, including incidents of abuse, imminent danger to self or others, bullying and sexual harassment are reported to the building administration in accordance with school policy.
